Assoc. Prof. Lukas Zagata

Assoc. Prof. Zagata's research interests span over the topic of sustainable transitions in agriculture, organic farming and methodology of social research. He has long-term experience in research and academic publications. Since 2004, he has been engaged in six European projects and several national research projects. In 2017 he coordinated research team that worked on the tender for the European Parliament focused on evaluating the policy tools focused on supporting young farmers (Young farmers - policy implementation after the 2013 CAP reform). Since 2017, he has been an elected member of the Executive Committee of The European Society for Rural Sociology, and also the member of the Editorial Board of the Sociologia Ruralis journal.
